Officer Martinez was born on February 22, 1975, in San Luis Tabasco, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was appointed to the Department on April 30, 2007. Officer Martinez is survived by his domestic partner, Megan; mother, Maria; father, Ricardo Senior; sister, Diana; and brothers, Ricardo Junior, Navor, and Juan.
